Kanjirappally Grama Panchayath - Major Treatment Centres & Information
The health centres at Kalaketty and Vizhikkithode, the Ayurvedic Hospital at Vizhikkithode and the Kanjirappally Homeo Hospital are the main treatment centres of our Gram Panchayat. Government health institutions work to meet the basic healthcare needs of the people. Prevention, diagnosis, treatment and health awareness through Allopathy, Ayurveda and Homeopathic treatments are being carried out under the leadership of these health centres.

AYUSH NHM Homoeo Primary School is functioning in its own building at Kanjirappally, Vananthapuram. A doctor, a clerk and a pharmacist serve as employees.

2. Govt. Ayurvedic Hospital, Vizhikkithode
The Ayurvedic hospital is functioning in its own building. There are 03 staff members including one doctor, pharmacist and other staff. There is also a sub-centre functioning at Vazheparamba in Kanjirappally.

1. Krishi Bhavan Anakkallu-Kanjirappally
Krishi Bhavan is functioning in Kanjirappally Panchayat-Anakkallu to provide knowledge on modern agricultural techniques and scientific farming practices to the farmers under the jurisdiction of Kanjirappally Grama Panchayath. Krishi Bhavan plays an important role in disseminating various schemes, people's planning schemes, subsidies, and training programs of the Department of Agriculture Development and Farmers Welfare to the farmers.

3. Office of the Dairy Farm Instructor
The Dairy Farm Instructor's Office is an important institution that helps in rural dairy development and increasing milk production. The main objective is to train the farmers and dairy farmers in scientific dairy farming practices and provide necessary technical assistance.

🌿 Welfare and Poverty Alleviation
Various government and people's planning schemes are being implemented with the aim of social welfare and poverty alleviation to ensure social justice and equal opportunities for all. The main objective is to raise the standard of living of the backward sections, the poor and the weaker sections.
4. Integrated Child Development Office (ICDS)
ICDS is a Government Scheme aimed at child and maternal welfare and holistic development of children. There are 44 Anganwadis functioning in the Panchayat as the basic units providing services of this scheme. The major beneficiaries are children under 6 years of age, pregnant women, lactating mothers, adolescent girls and women between the age group of 15 to 45 years.

5. Village Extension Office (VEO)
It is an important centre for bringing various development and service activities of the Gram Panchayat to the people. There are three VEOs. Housing schemes, employment schemes and social security schemes are being implemented. They are also responsible for identification of beneficiaries of various Government Schemes, scrutiny of applications, field survey and reporting.
