As far as a Grama Panchayat is concerned, it is the primary committee that implements the decisions of the Grama Sabha and carries out day-to-day governance.The main components of a Panchayat are:President: The head of the Panchayat. Presides over meetings and supervises the overall activities of the Panchayat.Vice President: Performs duties in the absence of the President.Ward Members: Elected representatives chosen from each ward of the Panchayat.Standing Committees: Sub-committees formed to ease decision-making in areas such as Finance, Development, Welfare, Health, and Education.
